WECLICKK ACADEMY · THE SHOOT DAY

The shoot day, run take by take.

When the day starts, WeClickk switches to shoot mode: crew call, talent call, scenes, lunch, and wrap live on one timeline, and every shot gets its takes logged as you roll. Start the day below and run it to wrap.

WHAT YOU GET

Everything shoot day mode gives you.

A real start to the day

The Ready to roll? gate shows scenes, shots, crew, and talent for the day. One tap starts the clock, and flags a late start in amber.

The day on one timeline

Crew call, talent call, scenes, lunch, setup, and wrap: every block goes live, then done, with +15 / +30 and End now on the block that is rolling.

Takes on every shot

The dark action window follows the live scene: tap when rolling, mark each take Approved or Cancelled, then Mark done and the next shot loads.

Running late, handled

Extend a block and the wrap ETA cascades: amber when the day slips, green when you claw it back. No mental math at 4 PM.

A day the edit can read

Wrap the day and everything is on record: which takes are good, what got skipped, what ran over, and what to reshoot.

QUESTIONS

Shoot day mode, explained.

What happens when I start the day?

+
The schedule you built in Plan becomes a live timeline. Crew call and talent call check off, the first scene goes live, and the clock starts. If you start after the planned crew call, the day is flagged as running late from minute one, honestly.

How do takes work?

+
Every shot gets a takes grid in the action window. Tap a slot when the camera rolls, then tap the take to mark it Approved or Cancelled. Mark the shot done and the next shot loads automatically. At wrap, the editor gets a day where every shot says exactly which take to pull.

What if we run over?

+
Extend the live block by 15 or 30 minutes, or end it early. The wrap time recalculates instantly and every block after it shifts, so you see the real cost of the overrun while you can still do something about it, not at 6 PM.

Where do lunch, crew call, and wrap come from?

+
From the shooting schedule you built in Plan. Shoot day mode reads the same blocks the call sheet was generated from, so the crew confirms one plan and then lives that same plan on set. Nothing is retyped between phases.
